We're over half way through February. I know a lot of people make New Years resolutions and some don't. Either way, how is the new year treating everyone? I've lost about 9 pounds and am staying consistent with my calories & workouts.

I am.... not. I was up until about 2 weeks ago, and then fell off the wagon. >_< Definitely need to get back into things - I'd only lost 2 lbs, and I think I gained them right back!

I started using Sparkpeople on January 3, and I weighed in at 218.5. Today the scale read 201.5. I'm pretty pleased with how I'm doing, but it's dangerous to think that way too much - it invites complacency! I heard someone say "If you're happy with what you did yesterday, then you haven't done enough today."

Keep it up, Sparkmenschen! Hell, if I can do it ...

You should be pleased & remember how great it feels because some weeks you are not going to lose anything or you may gain some weight. My 1st month using SP I lost 20 pounds and then I would lose a pound here & there until finally I lost over 50 pounds. Big numbers are temporary so cherish it.

Yeah, losing 15-20 pounds a month is not a sustainable activity, clearly. I don't mind!

I haven't lost as much as I wanted, but I have made progress. With school starting have slacked on my gym attendance...
